Re: The lease of Colvin Filling Station in Moffat
We would like to bring your attention to the excellent service we have received from our local negotiator, who dealt with the lease of our site in Moffat, Colvin Filling Station.
We are sure you are aware that filling stations are difficult to sell in the present climate, but he never allowed this to stand in his way.
He kept us up to date at all times with feedback from prospective purchasers and, although we had a few disappointments, he never lost his enthusiasm for the job in hand. His pleasant manner, gentle encouragement and attention to detail with purchasers is a gift and not something which can be learned.
He phoned and e-mailed on several occasions, to check on progress while on holiday and at the weekends. He is an asset to Christie + Co, and we have no hesitation in recommending the Company to anyone intending to sell their business.

Re: Sale of Bowburn Filling Station, in the village of Bowburn, off the A1(M) near Durham

We have finally completed the deal regarding Bowburn, and Farmway are no longer directly involved in the retail of road fuels.
I am grateful for your help and advice over the years regarding the disposal of our interests in the garages. It was always honest, direct and, most importantly, accurate.
