Four excellently located Ramada hotels are being brought to market by the hospitality specialist adviser Christie + Co.
The four freehold hotels — the Ramada Birmingham Solihull, Ramada Farnham, Ramada Guildford/Leatherhead and Ramada Hemel Hempstead — offer excellent facilities in highly accessible locations.
Jeremy Jones, Director of Corporate Hotels at Christie + Co, says: “The four prominently located hotels attract an excellent mix of overnight and weekend guests, and daily commercial, leisure and corporate business. The hotels are being offered freehold and we are anticipating a great deal of interest in them either as an entire or partial group, or on a stand-alone basis.”
About the hotels:
Ramada Birmingham Solihull is a 145-bedroom hotel situated in the centre of Solihull. The hotel offers excellent access to local amenities such as the shopping destination Touchwood, as well as the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham Airport. The property has four phases of development including a 16th Century Grade II Listed building fronting the High Street in Solihull (known as The George Hotel). In addition to the guest bedrooms, the hotel has 15 meeting and conference rooms and is arranged on three sides of a historic bowling green.
Ramada Farnham is located on the A31 between Guildford and Farnham. It has 96 guest bedrooms, extensive function and meeting rooms and a Sebastian Coe Health Club. The hotel has good levels of annual occupancy boosted by the strength of the commercial and leisure demand in the area, as well as the hotel’s excellent and extensive leisure facilities.
Ramada Guildford/Leatherhead is prominently located midway between Guildford, one of the southeast’s most popular towns, and Leatherhead — making it easily accessible from the M25. It has 87 guest bedrooms and a suite of function and meeting rooms. The hotel is surrounded by affluent Surrey villages and attracts good midweek commercial trade. At weekends, the hotel caters for weddings and functions that are held in-house or at nearby locations.
Ramada Hemel Hempstead is set in six acres of gardens and woodlands and is conveniently located for the M1 and Luton Airport - the hotel offers a "park, stay and fly" package for guests using the airport. In addition to its 137 guest bedrooms, the hotel has six conference and meeting rooms and is established as one of the main wedding and conference centres in the area. Seventeen acres of land at the rear of the property are designated by English Heritage as a place of particular historical importance and offer a development opportunity for a new owner.
