Bedfordshire care home sold by Christie + Co
Chantry House
The Birmingham Office of leading business agents, Christie + Co, announces the sale of Chantry House care home in Bedfordshire.
Chantry House is situated in Houghton Regis in Bedfordshire, convenient for Dunstable, Luton and the M1. The property sits in a conservation area, which is mainly occupied by residential premises. However, some mixed-use commercial and retail premises are within walking distance.
Martin Gould of Christie + Co, who handled the sale of the property, commented: “Chantry House is a former office building that had been converted into small flats and bedsits a number of years ago. It ceased trading several years ago, so the new owner is looking to carry out a full refurbishment programme before being able to provide accommodation for residents with learning disabilities.”
Christie + Co sought an asking price of £750,000 for the freehold interest of Chantry House and it was sold for an undisclosed sum.
