Vacant pub with development potential sold in Buckinghamshire village

The Verney Arms
Christie + Co is delighted to announce that it has sold the leasehold interest of The Verney Arms, a vacant public house in Verney Junction, near Winslow in Buckinghamshire.
Verney Junction is surrounded by a number of outlying villages and is also near Bicester, Milton Keynes and Aylesbury.
The Verney Arms is a detached, two-storey property with two distinct trading areas conisting of a bar/reception with seating for around 20 and a main dining area, which can seat up to 44. The private accommodation comprises five bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge, offering the new owner the potential to utilise the rooms as letting accommodation.
Carl Steer, who handled this sale at Christie + Co’s Enfield Office, commented: “We were instructed to sell The Verney Arms by the Verney Estate after our success selling another pub connected to the estate. Our marketing generated lots of viewings and we quickly agreed a deal with a local restaurateur who is now trading the premises as a contemporary Italian restaurant. We wish the new owner every success with this exciting new venture.”
