Care home in Salford, near Manchester city centre, has changed hands

The Manchester Office of leading business agents, Christie + Co, has sold Claremont Lodge, a residential care home in Salford, just a short drive from Manchester city centre.
The home is a substantial detached property occupying a prominent position within a residential area and has been run under management. The property was built in the 1800s and has had a purpose-built extension added to it to increase the registration from 14 to 18 residents.
Rosie Everett, from Christie + Co’s Manchester Office, who handled the sale, commented; “The home was established as a care home by the vendor approximately 20 years ago, but has now been sold to an experienced operator.”
Christie + Co was instructed to sell the freehold interest of Claremont Lodge and it was sold for an undisclosed sum.
