Residential care home, close to the sea front in Essex, is sold through Christie + Co

The Ipswich Office of leading business agents, Christie + Co, has successfully sold a residential care home in Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex.
Kimberley Grace Residential Home is situated in a residential area on Grosvenor Road, close to the seafront, and is registered for 14 elderly/dementia clients. The home comprises a three-storey property, with parking to the front and a patio garden to the rear, and has two-bedroom owner’s accommodation.
The business was sold on behalf of Richard and Rosemary Bodley, after more than two years of ownership, as they wish to pursue other interests. The new owner is Marita Collin, who is an experienced care home operator.
Robert Mellamphy, from Christie + Co’s Ipswich Office, who handled the sale, commented; “This sale illustrates that there is still strong demand for care homes of all sizes when it is a good underlying quality business and property. We are still receiving a continuous flow of requests from potential purchasers wishing to buy care homes, ranging from five beds to over 100 beds and we have funding sources available to back these deals.”
