Graduate Opportunities

Our graduate programme offers bright and driven candidates the opportunity to gain early hands-on experience and the support they need to begin a fulfilling career as a business professional specialising in operational real estate.

Training programmes, shadowing key business leaders and early exposure to key clients will provide real opportunities for highly motivated individuals to progress their career all the way through to director level.

Graduates will either be part of our rotation programme or offered a bespoke role in one of our UK regional or European offices. Our rotation programme is for graduates based in London and selected regional offices, and provides a broad foundation of knowledge and experience by giving graduates the opportunity to conduct three 6-9 month placements within different specialist departments; brokerage and agency, valuations and lease advisory, and strategic consultancy. Whilst working and gaining experience, graduates will progress towards membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) by completing the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

Graduate Application Process

Our graduate scheme is open to those with a 2:1 or higher in a RICS-accredited degree or looking to undertake a masters conversion. We also welcome applications from students in the final year of their degree with projected grades at or above the required level. The multi-stage application process begins by completing an initial application form and submitting an up-to-date CV. If your online application is successful, you may then be invited to complete online assessments and/or attend a final stage interview conducted by a panel of experienced Christie & Co professionals up to director level. Throughout the process, we will endeavour to keep you updated on the progress of your application.

Applications are paused due to current circumstances. If you have already applied, please get in touch with Chandni Patel, our People & Development Advisor

Not quite a graduate yet?

We offer three centrally organised placement opportunities: work experience, a summer internship scheme, and a sandwich placement year. Getting your foot in the door and gaining experience in the form of a work placement can prove extremely beneficial. As well as strengthening your CV, you can improve your industry knowledge, grow your confidence and gain important contacts, all of which increase your chance of being successful in your graduate or apprentice application. We offer placements across a variety of locations and departments so there is something for everyone.

Placement Year

Placement years run September to September, and are an excellent way to gain 12 months of APC experience in one of our operational real estate sectors. Similar to our graduate scheme, individuals may be rotated between our service lines to help them gain a range of experience. Qualified professionals and current graduate scheme employees will be on hand to support students throughout their placement.

Summer Internship Scheme

We are looking for first and second year undergraduates with a passion for property that want to spend between four and six weeks learning about Christie & Co; our sectors, how we work, and the services we provide to clients. The scheme includes opportunities to attend site visits, networking events, client meetings, and conduct valuable market research. This is a great first step for those interested in considering a graduate role with us in the future to experience first-hand what Christie & Co is all about.

Work Experience

If you think a career in property is possibly for you why not spend two weeks on work experience with us? We are keen to hear from Year 12 and Year 13 students who would like to experience a professional business environment and discover more.
