Purpose of the Role
To support and assist the Retail Valuations Director with the day-to-day management of Valuation Services, with a focus on going concern convenience, roadside retail (petrol stations), garden centres and other trading assets valued having regard to trading potential. Secondary focus on investment valuations in the same sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site surveys to include property inspections and measurements
- Carrying out technical valuation work across the retail sector
- Preparing detailed reports
- Working towards the completion of APC to include Level 3 (L3) Valuation
Working Relationships and Contacts
You will work alongside our lead surveyor and agents who form a national team of specialist retail experts.
The candidate will be encouraged to assist with external Client meetings to help build their own client/contact base and help generate business for the team.
The candidate will be encouraged to attend all social events both internally and externally to maintain a strong work/life balance.

Person Specification
Skills and Experience
- To have a RICS Accredited property degree; Essential
- To have a full UK Driving License; Essential
- Report writing skills; Essential
- To have previous experience within Valuation; Desirable
- To have previous experience working within professional services; Desirable
