Occupying the ground floor of a traditional stone building, built from grey/brown sandstone, common in west‑coast towns like Greenock. The pub occupies a mid-terrace position of similarly properties with signage above and entered directly from the street.

Lage

The Hole in the Wa' is located within Greenock Town Centre, near West Blackhall Street and close to shops, banks, and other public houses. It is a short walk from Greenock Central or Greenock West train stations. Greenock sits on the south bank of the River Clyde, about 25 miles west of Glasgow. A historic Clyde port town with strong shipbuilding roots, a dramatic hillside setting, and a mix of scenic views and post‑industrial challenges.

Innenräume

A long and narrow pub where the bar servery is located to the right hand side, with perimeter booth style seating to the left hand side. Bar stools surround the bar servery with additional seating to the rear of the premises. Very much a traditional bar with fonts on the servery and fully stocked gantry to the rear. Ladies and Gents WC's and small office are located to the rear of the servery.

A few suggestions could be to introduce one or two craft beers, host music/quiz nights and perhaps more of a social media presence.
