5-star Brighton Guest House comes to the market through Christie & Co

Kemp Townhouse, a 5-star boutique hotel in Brighton is looking for a new owner through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.

Located just off the seafront in the fashionable area of Kemp Town, the Grade II listed mid-terrace town house has 11 letting bedrooms and a recently renovated bar and guest lounge.

Since opening in 2008, the business has been consistently awarded Visit Britain’s 5-star accreditation and has featured in a number of guides including Alastair Sawday’s, The Michelin Guide for Hotels and Alex Polizzi’s Little Black Book of Hotels, as well as featuring in publications such as The Independent, Guardian and Elle.

Current owner, Paul Lantsbury who bought the property a few years ago is now looking to exit the hotel sector to concentrate on other business interests.

Andrew Moore, Director at Christie & Co who is handling the sale comments, “Kemp Townhouse presents a fantastic opportunity for an operator to acquire an award-winning and successful guest house in a fabulous location. Just a short walk from Brighton Pier, it is popular with both domestic and overseas tourists and has lots of potential to develop its current offering.”

An asking price of £1.250m is being sought for the freehold.
