Central St Albans restaurant seeks new owner

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has been appointed to market Pin Petch, a popular Thai restaurant in the thriving and affluent cathedral city of St Albans, nestled within the commuter belt north of London in central Hertfordshire.

Located just off the High Street in the heart of the bustling city, this attractive glass fronted split level business comprises a contemporary, light and airy 50 cover restaurant, a bar area, a good size commercial kitchen with high standard equipment and a separate wash up area.

Trading six days a week, there is scope to further grow the business by extending the opening hours or adapt the style of restaurant to suit the offering of an incoming operator. The property has undergone refurbishment over recent years by the current tenants to include fixtures and fittings of superior quality.

Current owner, Mr Siriwat comments, “St Albans is a great place to trade as restaurant, we have been busy since we first took over due to its great location near the cathedral – a great opportunity for a new operator.”

Tim Widdows, Business Agent at Christie & Co is handling the sale and comments, “Pin Petch is a highly regarded restaurant with a very loyal customer base, benefitting from regular repeat custom as well as tourists visiting the city. This is a great opportunity and we expect interest from both owner operators and commercial operators, who may wish to continue trading the business as it is or introduce a new concept to the city.”

Christie & Co is seeking offers of £140,000 for the leasehold of Pin Petch.
