Occupying a prominent trading position on the High Street, the practice has four surgeries and benefits from around 7,500 registered NHS patients.
Brian Easton bought the practice in 1994 from the previous owner who operated the fully NHS practice with two surgeries for 30 years. The practice now comprises four surgeries and offers a wide range of private dental treatments.
Following the decision to sell and step back from practice ownership, Mr Easton comments, “I was keen to sell my practice to my existing associate. However, I still wanted professional expertise to do this. Christie & Co’s approach wasn’t aggressive, they knew the market well and Paul Graham kept the deal going when different parties changed their outlook.”
Paul Graham, Head of Dental at Christie & Co who handled the sale, comments, “No two practices are alike. When it comes to selling a business, particularly in respect to value, the worth of a dental practice cannot be determined by simply comparing it with one up the road. We are pleased to have assisted Mr Easton with the sale of his practice. Christie & Co’s expertise and comparative insight into the dental market allowed us to negotiate preferential terms and a premium price for the sale of Brian G Easton Dental Practice in an off market transaction.
“We wish Mr Easton all the best and a well deserved break from practice ownership.”
