Located on Barnet High Street, the property is close to two surgeries, a post office and a dental practice along with all other amenities on the busy high street. It dispenses an average of 4800 items monthly.

This will be only the fourth owner since the pharmacy opened in the 1920s. The seller has chosen to retire after 30 years of running the business and has sold a newly created lease to a first-time buyer, Jaymin Amin, a previous pharmacy manager at Boots, who intends to run the operation as a family business.

Mark Page, Director at Christie & Co who handled the sale comments, “We received many offers for this successful and thriving pharmacy which is in a fantastic location. There were several offers made and the buyer had to fight off stiff competition. The demand for these kinds of sites is extremely high in and around London, particularly in main high street areas.

“We wish the best of luck to both the seller and the business’s new owner.”

The pharmacy was sold off an asking price of Offers In Excess Of £950,000.
