Located on the village High Street, the previous owners of the business welcomed patrons to the property for 35 years, developing an excellent reputation built on quality beer and friendly service.

Former manager of the pub, Kaesy Steele, has purchased the leasehold of the property.

Tim Widdows, Business Agent in Christie & Co’s Reading office who handled the sale, comments, “The Waggon is a very well know pub in the area and we received a large amount of interest from potential buyers. We were very pleased to be able to facilitate the deal to the new owner, Kaesy Steele, who most of the locals will know as the former manager.

“Following a minor refurbishment and improvements to the food offering, we are sure Kaesy will take the business from strength to strength.”
