The Ramada Birmingham Hotel in Oldbury was put up for sale following a huge turn around in business performance when former owner and local businessman, Gurjit Mahal, purchased the hotel out of administration in 2012.
Charles Jones, Senior Business Agent at Christie & Co handled the sale and comments, “The Ramada opened in 2008 and also includes a restaurant and four function rooms which are extensively used for conferences, events and weddings so we knew it would generate a lot of interest once on the market.
“Redwings Lodge is very happy to be associated with the Ramada brand and plans to extend the property, adding new restaurant space and further bedrooms. They are also looking to further expand their portfolio within the Birmingham and Coventry area.”
The Ramada Birmingham Hotel sold off a freehold at undisclosed price.
