Situated on the A537, the main road connecting Macclesfield to Knutsford and the Peak District, the well maintained 1300 sq ft retail space trades unopposed within the affluent community it serves. The property also provides three bedroom owner’s accommodation on the first floor, accessed via a separate entrance, presenting an ideal lifestyle business for an owner operator.

Previous owner, Piyush Parekm took the decision to sell the store in order to relocate with his family. Mr Parekm comments, “Though we had only acquired the business on Chester Road a short time ago, we were presented with the opportunity to emigrate to Australia, where we have family. The opportunity was simply too good to pass up.”

New owner and first-time convenience store operator, Mrs Priyanka Mohanan is an experienced business owner, having operated a number of successful fast food franchises. Relocating from Merseyside in order to run the business, Mrs Mohanan comments, “We were looking for an opportunity to acquire a convenience store for a little while, and this site ticked all our boxes. The whole process from start to end was swift and I cannot thank Ashley enough for handling this transition.”

Ashley Cobban, Business Agent at Christie & Co handled the sale and comments, “The store is well placed on a busy road within an affluent area. This is a great opportunity for Mrs Priyanka and we wish her all the best for the future. The high levels of interest generated by this business and the speed of the sale are testament to the demand for high quality retail businesses in the area.”

The convenience store was sold off a guide price of £100,000.
