Linden House comprises two semidetached houses which have been extended and altered to form the current trading facility. The care home is registered for 23 in 22 rooms, of which 18 have en suite facilities. Trading accommodation is over three floors with stair lift access to all floors. The home is very well presented throughout and benefits from a large living room, dining room and conservatory to the rear.
Acting on behalf of the previous owners, Mr Mark Baker and his mother, Christie & Co marketed the business in a confidential manner and obtained a good level of interest. Due to the location, quality, Good CQC rating and strong trading performance, the home attracted a buyer within a quick timeframe.
Mr Baker comments, “After running the home with my mother for the last 36 years, it was a very tough decision to sell, however for us it was the right one. We are pleased to be handing the business onto a charity and believe they will run the home very well. Christie & Co achieved a quiet sale which was what we wanted so as not to affect the running of the home and cause concern for our residents.”
