Specialist property adviser Christie + Co has been appointed to sell the freehold interest of Braich Goch Bunkhouse and Inn, a historic coaching inn situated in the southern end of the Snowdonia National Park.

Prince William stayed at property during his time with the RAF, the fully self-catered bunkhouse provides accommodation for up 26 guests and is ideally positioned for exploring the National Park and the sights of Mid and North Wales.

Situated in Corris, within some of the best mountain biking areas in the country, guests can enjoy panoramic views and numerous outdoor activities including walking, cycling, climbing, canoeing and bird watching.

The public areas of the property include a lounge area, games room and a bar which is popular with groups and in particular for Stag & Hen parties who visit to enjoy outdoor pursuits.

The current owners utilise two rooms as private accommodation, and a lounge on the first floor boasting spectacular views of the valley.

The building has been extended over the years and has a range of outbuildings comprising a bike store, beer cellar, car park for approximately 17 vehicles an attractive outside trade area and a further private garden.

John Coggins of Christie + Co’s Cardiff office is handling the sale. He says: “Braich Goch presents a superb opportunity to own an attractive business in the most idyllic setting.”

“The business is currently run on a lifestyle basis with a limited food and beverage offering. New hands-on owners would be able to drive the business forward by expanding the food offering, extending the bar opening hours and perhaps developing the private garden into an additional trade area.”
