Bristol's Henbury Lodge Hotel sold to experienced local operator

Henbury Lodge Hotel in Bristol has been sold by specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.

The Grade II listed 22-bedroom 3-star boutique hotel has been purchased by experienced hotelier Akin Ojolo, who recently sold Highways House in Bath to take on this new opportunity.

Previously owned by Tim & Rosalind Forester, the attractive Georgian mansion style property includes a bar, lounge, restaurant and attractive gardens.

Matthew Smith and Jonathan Hill, Directors in Christie & Co’s Bristol office handled the sale. Matthew comments, “We are delighted to announce the sale of Henbury Lodge and wish Akin Ojolo every success with his new venture.

“Akin is an experienced hospitality business owner and having sold his guest house in Bath to purchase Henbury Lodge Hotel, he is the obvious choice of buyer to further develop the trading performance and build upon the success already in place as a result of Tim & Rosalind's stewardship."
