New owners for award-winning Brighton guest house

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has brokered the sale of Strawberry Fields Guest House in Brighton.

Overlooking the Garden Square of New Steine and a short distance from Brighton’s seafront, the 29-bedroom guest house has been bought by well regarded local hotel operator, Mr Bhardwaj Dhunnoo and his family, who own the nearby Hamptons Hotel.

Having invested a huge amount of time, effort and money in the business since purchasing it in 2006, previous owners Sharon Callaghan and Jeremy Ogden are leaving the business in great shape, with its TripAdvisor reputation having moved from the low fifties into the top thirty. It was also awarded 'Cleanest Hotel in Brighton' at the BHHA Awards in November.

Andrew Moore, Director at Christie & Co’s Maidstone office comments, “We are delighted to have facilitated the sale of Strawberry Fields to the Dhunnoo family, who have a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. We wish them the best of luck with their latest venture.”
