Metrodental was previously owned by private investors and Christie & Co was instructed to provide valuation and strategic exit advice for the two practices in September.

David Clapp, Metrodental, Founder & Owner said, “It has given me enormous satisfaction and a sense of pride to see the growth of Metrodental over the past 12 years. Our dedicated staff have created practices that set a benchmark for excellence in clinical treatment and patient care. I know that our patients will continue to receive excellent care and will further benefit from the security of the trusted Bupa brand”.

David Hynam, Bupa UK CEO said: “These practices are well placed to further strengthen our presence in central London and build our customer base in the area. I’d like to welcome the Metrodental team to Bupa.  We look forward to continuing to deliver our shared commitment to provide high quality convenient care.”

Simon Hughes, Managing Director of Christie & Co’s Dental team comments, “We are delighted to have acted for the vendors in the confidential sale of such a high quality dental business. Bupa showed very keen interest early on and were able to progress its acquisition very quickly and efficiently. Metrodental is a perfect fit for its expanding portfolio of quality practices in the capital. The market is very strong for high quality dental practices and we will undoubtedly see further transactions of this type in 2018.”
