Oliver McCarthy joins the healthcare business team in the Bristol office with over 20 years experience in the property industry, selling residential property in the UK. Oliver will work alongside Rob Kinsman and Simon Harvey to capitalise on the increasing demand for brokerage services to healthcare owners in the South West.

Julia Pollard BSc (Hons) joins the licensed business team, and has 17 years experience in the property industry, selling residential property in both the UK and Hong Kong. Julia will work alongside Stephen Champion to capitalise on the increasing demand for brokerage services to pub and restaurant owners in the South West.

Rob Kinsman, Regional Director of the South Wales and South West Division of Christie & Co comments; "Oliver and Julia’s appointments come off the back of a significant increase in buyer appetite in our healthcare markets and across our leisure markets, including pubs, restaurant and hotels, despite wider concerns surrounding Brexit.

“Having recently secured the prestigious Laing & Buisson Property Advisor of the Year Award for 2017, demand for our services has never been stronger.  Local deal volumes in the healthcare sector are up 23% on last year illustrating the ongoing demand for healthcare businesses. Our year-to-date viewing levels in the leisure sector are up 48% on the same period last year, illustrating how business confidence in the South West remains strong and is set to continue in the same vein throughout 2018.”
