Set within 30 acres of secluded grounds and surrounded by a 9 hole PGA registered golf course, the country house hotel was built at the turn of the nineteenth century and occupies an elevated position providing panoramic views over the golf course and surrounding countryside. Boasting 47 individually appointed guest bedrooms, Cricklade House is also a popular venue for exclusive wedding events, private banqueting and conferences.

Headquartered in Nottingham, Purico employs more than 3,000 people worldwide in the automotive, care, construction, hotel & leisure, investment, paper and property sectors.
Anil Puri of Purico Limited comments; “We have ambitious plans to upgrade and modernise this 30 acre nine hole golf course property and have budgeted 1 million towards renovating Cricklade House. The main house will immediately undergo a complete renovation to make it suitable for being part of our stable of businesses. We are considering joining a brand which is under discussion, in order to further enhance our marketing footprint.”
Matthew Smith, Director at Christie & Co's Bristol office who handled the sale comment; "We are thrilled to announce the sale of Cricklade House. Christie & Co has a longstanding relationship with Phil & Valerie Harris having sold their previous Cotswold hotel and they also purchased Cricklade House through us some years ago. They now look forward to a well deserved retirement and spending more time with their grandchildren. We welcome Anil Puri, who alongside his team, will bring a wealth of knowledge and grand plans to further invest into the business which makes for an exciting time for everyone involved with Cricklade House.”
