Europa Holiday Park comprises amenities for camping and touring holidays alongside permanent accommodation such as surf pods, glamping, shacks, huts and caravans. The resort boasts a range of facilities including a large, recently refurbished clubhouse, restaurant, shop and takeaway, and indoor pool. With a variety of accommodation provided, the site offers 52 self-catering units comprising of seven lodges and 45 cabins, plus 119 electric pitches available for caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and campervans.

Situated in a prominent elevated position with uninterrupted sea views, the resort is ideally located and within easy reach of Woolacombe, a popular tourist town in the area offering a range of retail outlets, pubs and restaurants.

The previous owner, Mr Graham Toms, owned and operated Europa since 2003 and has made significant improvements over the years, including an overhaul of the overall trading format and updating the physical presence of the park.

Europa Park was sold to experienced operator Mr Henry Simmons.

Stephen Champion, Senior Business Agent based in Christie & Co’s Exeter office who handled the sale, comments, “We are thrilled to announce the sale to Henry Simmons. We carried out a comprehensive marketing campaign which resulted in interest from a variety of buyer groups.

“The buyer pool continues to expand for hospitality businesses in the South West due to a lack of quality opportunities available to satisfy demand from buyers who are keen to acquire proven robust profitable assets and financially proven to deliver within an agreed timeline.”

Europa Holiday Park was sold off a guide price of £2,500,000.
