Experienced operators take over renowned Llandenny restaurant

The Raglan Arms, an AA-Rosette awarded and Michelin Guide-featured restaurant in Llandenny has been sold by specialist property adviser Christie + Co.

Outgoing vendor Giles Cunliffe has run the business for nine years and developed it into a highly acclaimed eatery which made The Times 50 Best Pubs list. He now looks forward to new challenges in London. 

Giles passes the torch to Judith and William Brown, who bring with them a wealth of hospitality experience having sold their hotel in Scotland to relocate to Llandenny.

Housed in a splendid 18th century stone building, The Raglan Arms has been a licensed premises since 1852.The restaurant boasts a spacious open-plan trade area for 100 covers plus a large terraced patio.

The property was sold for an undisclosed sum but it was marketed by Christie + Co for £370,000.
