A busy community pharmacy in South Yorkshire has a new owner following its sale by specialist pharmacy property adviser Christie + Co.

Situated in Dinnington, Heritage Pharmacy was established in 2010 by Vicky Bennett. The business has grown steadily and dispenses circa 3,700 items per month.

The leasehold interest was purchased for an undisclosed sum after a brief marketing campaign which resulted in nine offers for the pharmacy.  A sale was subsequently agreed to Manish Gupta, an independent pharmacist from Rotherham.

Tony Evans, Christie + Co’s UK Director for Pharmacy comments: ""With over 3,500 applicants looking for pharmacy opportunities across the UK we were confident that interest would be readily received for this high-quality, modern pharmacy. A sale was agreed within eight weeks following a highly competitive bidding process.”

Outgoing owner Vicky Bennett remarks: “Having operated the business from inception, we were delighted with the response received and were please to agree the sale to Manish Gupta, the first interested party to have viewed the business.""

The sale completed on 2nd February 2015.
