The store is situated along the town’s harbourfront marina on Fore street, with stunning views up the River Dart valley and picturesque town of Dartmouth. It has traded under the ownership of Chris and Ella Gadd for the last 17 years and they are now looking forward to a well-earned retirement following the successful sale.

The store has been purchased by Mr James Norvill, who is well known in the local areas. He plans to close the store and redevelop the site, before reopening in a few months.

The previous owner, Ella Gadd comments, “It's time for a rest and to plan our next chapter after 17 years at the shop. We wish Mr Norvill every success with his new venture and many thanks to Jamie Williams at Christie & Co – a skilled middleman who coordinated our sale to completion.”

Jamie Williams, Senior Business Agent in Christie & Co’s Retail team handled the sale and adds, “Kingswear Village Stores is a wonderfully located store with excellent profits for owner operators. It was great to have been involved with the sale and I wish Ella and Chris all the best for the future. James has exciting plans for the store, and I look forward to seeing how he develops the site. Demand for all convenience stores remains high, so if you’re considering selling, please get in touch.”
