Ring O’ Bells, a roadside pub in the pretty Cornish village of Antony has been sold in a deal brokered by specialist property adviser Christie + Co.

The substantial property was closed by the former owner over a year ago, following a series of floods that forced them to shut down.

The residents of Antony will no doubt be delighted to learn that the future of the pub has been secured by an experienced publican, who purchased the property off an asking price of £125,000.

The pub, which briefly comprises a restaurant, bar area and a two-bedroom owners’ accommodation, received multiple offers following a targeted marketing campaign.

The sale was handled by Richard Wood, negotiator at Christie + Co’s Exeter office. Richard remarks: “This is the second pub that we have sold in the locality, with another attractive asset in the pipeline, illustrating a demand for freehold public houses in this rural, picturesque setting.”
