Horley bar & restaurant welcomes new owners

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the leasehold sale of 51 Degrees North, a modern bar and restaurant in the popular Surrey town of Horley.



Located on Victoria Road, in the heart of the town, the popular restaurant features a ground floor trading area which can accommodate up to 86 covers, a fully equipped kitchen and an outside trading area for a further 45 covers. Well known for its steaks, as well as artisan pizzas, pastas and traditional British dishes, the restaurant benefits from an enviable reputation built up over the years by the previous owners and maintains good reviews for its food and service.

Following a successful three years of ownership, husband and wife team, Robert and Jacqueline Bell are now looking forward to early retirement and travelling the world and comment, “We have thoroughly enjoyed the past three years at 51 Degrees North and have made many friends along the way. We would like to thank everyone for their amazing support, enabling us to fulfil a life long dream of building and owning a wonderful and very successful bar and restaurant.  We would also like to thank James at Christie & Co for the swift and efficient sale.
