Acting as the only store in the village, it has recently been extended and refurbished by former owners, Mr & Mrs Janda who are now able to pursue their retirement. It sells general food provisions, newspapers and magazines, chilled and frozen food, confectionery, tobacco, toiletries and also functions as an off licence and Post Office.
It has been bought by Mr Odedra who is from Leicester and owns several other retail businesses.
David Branch, Business Agent at Christie & Co who handled the sale comments, “This traditional convenience store is relied on by many in the surrounding area and we are delighted to help the former owners to be able to retire. We wish Mr Odedra the best of luck in his latest venture.”
The business was sold off a freehold asking price of £380,000.
