Specialist hotel property adviser Christie + Co has been appointed to sell the charming Clydesdale Hotel in the historic town of Hamilton, Lanarkshire.

The Clydesdale Hotel is an attractive detached sandstone property offering comfortable accommodation in 15 traditionally appointed guest bedrooms.

The hotel is extremely well positioned opposite the County Buildings and close to Hamilton West train station, Hamilton Football club and the West of Scotland University.

Aside from the 15 guest bedrooms, Clydesdale boasts an attractive bar area with lounge bar, 40 cover restaurant and beer garden. There is also car parking to the front and the rear of the property.

For the past 18 years, Clydesdale has been owned and operated by the same family. Due to changing circumstances, the owners have appointed Christie + Co to place the hotel on the market.

Brian Sheldon, Regional Director at Christie + Co’s Glasgow office is handling the sale. He comments: “The Clydesdale Hotel represents what many buyers are looking for; a well located and well performing hotel with excellent growth potential. While the hotel does currently cater for a variety of functions including christenings and weddings, there is certainly scope for new owners to further develop this side of the business.”
