The Weighbridge Inn, a traditional and highly acclaimed pub in the Cotswolds has been brought to the market by specialist property adviser Christie + Co

Set over three floors, The Weighbridge Inn is a true Cotswold pub with plenty of character and rustic charm boasting stone walls, exposed beams and open fireplaces throughout. The business is renowned in the local area and surrounding villages for its varied range of local real ales and homemade 2in1 pies ®. This unique dish remains a firm favourite after forty years on the menu.

The detached 17th Century building features extensive trading areas and a good sized owner’s accommodation consisting of three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge.

The property sits on an extensive site which measures about a 1/3 of an acre encompassing a pretty terraced beer garden with bench seating for approximately 70 customers and parking facilities for over 50 cars.

Nicholas Calfe of Christie + Co’s Bristol office is handling the sale. He says: “Weighbridge Inn has a fine reputation and is an important community facility with a strong following from locals and those from neighbouring towns and villages. While the pub enjoys a healthy level of income, there is considerable potential to expand on the takeaway part of the business and to convert the upper floors to letting accommodation.”
