The former Parrot pub located in the bustling Regency spa town of Cheltenham has been sold in a deal brokered by joint agents Christie + Co.

The elegant Grade II listed property, which has a number of period features including decorative ceiling cornices, has been acquired by a private buyer for an undisclosed sum off an asking price of £495,000.

Nicholas Calfe, Director at Christie + Co’s Bristol office comments: “The property generated substantial interest from developers, retailers, pub and restaurant operators. The successful cash purchaser who is based in Swindon completed the transaction within three weeks and is looking forward to converting the property into a bespoke furniture shop.”
