The store, located on Dyke Road, has been sold on a leasehold basis to local experienced operator Tarun Thapar.
Scott Goodwin, Business Agent at Christie & Co was responsible for brokering the sale and commented, “We are delighted to have helped hand over the ownership of the U-Save and Post Office from its existing owner, Harbinder “Harry” Burmy to a safe pair of hands such as Tarun’s.
“Tarun is a local resident and has additional businesses in the area and he is now looking forward to ongoing successful expansion and to continue serving the local and wider community with a smile and a great level of service. Tarun will ultimately rebrand the store and increase the offering available.
"This sale has further shown the attraction of good quality retail businesses in the area. We are seeing a high level of interest in convenience stores of this type both in Glasgow and across Scotland, and we expect this to continue as the year progresses.”
