Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has now been appointed to sell the well-established bar, which is located on a prominent corner of Main Street in Neilson, just a short walk from the town’s train station.

Josh Hill, Business Agent at Christie & Co is handling the sale and says, “This is a popular local pub that has a loyal and well-established customer base. There is an opportunity here for a new owner to capitalise on the hard work of the outgoing owner and increase the turnover of the pub by looking at the option of offering food.”

The bar has a large kitchen space available, which would suit an operator looking to provide food also has the benefit of a rear beer garden which proves popular with the local during clement weather.

Josh added, “We are experiencing a rise in interest in pubs such as the Killoch which have an established local customer base to work with.

“The bar has been under its current ownership for over three decades, and the owner feels now is the time for her to enjoy her retirement and pass on the reins to a fresh pair of hands.”

The Killoch Bar is on the market at offers in the region of £200,000 for the freehold going concern.
