Located on the promenade in the largest seaside resort of Wales, it is approximately five miles from Conwy and Colwyn Bay.  The Snowdonia National Park is within driving distance and it benefits from views of the mountains from the rear. There are a number of attractions and landmarks close by, including the historic castles, which makes the hotel popular with tourists.

The currently family-run hotel has 28 ensuite bedrooms, in a selection of single, double, twin and family rooms, arranged over five floors with lift access. The rooms have been individually styled and furnished to reflect the Victorian interiors of the building.

The ground and lower ground floors comprise a bar/lounge, a restaurant, and a catering kitchen with a food storage area. There is also a car park which can accommodate 16 vehicles and a coach, and a 16-seated outside area to the front which overlooks the sea.  Located at the rear of the building, there are an additional two available rooms which could be utilised as owners’ accommodation with a private bathroom and separate toilet.

Tom O’Malley, who is handling the sale from Christie & Co’s Manchester office, comments, “The Kinmel Hotel is a rare opportunity to own a good-sized hotel on the promenade with direct seaside views.  As it has 28 rooms, it will appeal to owner-operators looking to take on a lifestyle business or a multiple operator who is perhaps looking to expand in the area.

“It is exciting times for Llandudno as its popularity with UK tourists is increasing. Because of this, we expect a large amount of interest in the property.”

An asking price of £595,000 is being sought for the hotel.
