Kevin and Louise have been in the pub trade for over 25 years, having also previously managed pubs at Cribbs Causeway and in the Midlands.

The Westbrook Inn was refurbished throughout before opening at the beginning of May over the Bank Holiday weekend. The pub not only has a new look in a country style, but also a new menu consisting of home cooked pub food sourced locally as well as traditional ales. The new owners have already hosted an Elvis tribute act and are planning several more events for the community in the future.

The previous owners Robert and Tracy Chandler have now retired to spend more time in their holiday home in the Algarve, Portugal.

Nicholas Calfe, Director in Christie & Co’s Bristol office who handled the sale comments: “The sale of the Westbrook Inn is another example of the appetite and demand for underperforming freehold pubs priced below £400,000, still with plenty of growth potential, but just about affordable for those experienced buyers trading up from a lease or tenancy.”
