The business was originally established in 1995 and from there has gone from strength to strength, expanding from its first original location in Studley, Warwickshire to open a further setting in Redditch, Worcestershire. In addition to the care offered at the nurseries, Little Sneakers also runs after-school clubs due to the demand in the surrounding areas.

The two nurseries, which have a combined effective capacity for over 70 children have been sold to Little Bunnys Limited taking the current offering to three settings. The proprietor Mr Kartik Patel is currently operating an existing nursery within the region, George Eliot Kindergarten, a 56 place setting which has been in his care  for around 18 months.

Tamara Skipworth, Care Business Agent at Christie & Co commented: “Due to our local knowledge we were able to introduce Kartik to our clients on a very confidential basis enabling us to facilitate an offer without taking the property to the open market. Due to our extensive database and close relationships with our registered buyers and local operators we are in the enviable position of selling a proportion of our instructions on an ‘off market’ basis thus maximising confidentiality for both parties.

“We would like to thank our client Mrs Karyn Maddison for instructing Christie & Co and wish her all the best in her impending partial retirement.”

David Ward from Christie Finance who arranged funding on behalf of the buyers added: “Christie Finance were delighted to secure highly-competitive funding terms for our client, enabling them to add a quality business to their existing setting. Kartik’s strong reputation in the local market will help take the businesses forward and with the support of a lender keen to help with their growth aspirations, the future looks very exciting.”
