Springtime Day Nursery in Streatham has been sold in a deal brokered by specialist property adviser Christie + Co.

The leasehold interest has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by Peaches Day Nursery Limited, who own another popular nursery in the Midlands.

Situated in a pleasant residential area within easy reach of Streatham’s shops and transport links, Springtime Day Nursery is registered for 20 children and provides a homely atmosphere.

Mrs Ahmed of Peaches Day Nursery Limited comments: “We have now increased the nursery capacity to 25 children and also registered to look after babies. The nursery has a very cosy and homely feel. Parents regard it as their child's second home.”

Outgoing vendors Lynne Byrne acquired the business in 2003 as a shell site, which at that time was being used as a local tax office.

Daniel Arnold, Regional Director at Christie + Co says: “The current owners of this nursery had recently invested heavily in the garden providing a great place to play.  This was one of the settings key features”

“With a record number of parents working, the demand for nursery businesses is booming. As a result, high-quality nursery settings in hot areas such as this are receiving multiple offers within a short space of time.”
