The business, which comprises 38 letting rooms, a bar, dining room and two function rooms has been bought by GS Hotels, an expanding local hotel group which already owns and operates two hotels in the region.
Tim Gooding, Director at Christie & Co who handled the sale comments, “Having originally sold the hotel to the now previous owner back in 2000, he returned to us to sell it due to wanting to pursue his retirement.
“This is an excellent hotel with great facilities located minutes away from Norwich train station. We are sure that the buyer with their wide experience in operating hotels will continue to make a great success of the business.”
The Lansdowne Hotel & Conference Centre was sold off a guide price of £1.15m.
