Former award-winning restaurant in St Andrews Market Street is sold

The leasehold interest of the former Nahm Jim restaurant on St Andrews bustling Market Street has been sold by specialist property adviser Christie + Co.

Nahm-Jim was once voted the best Thai restaurant in the UK by the Sunday Times and also featured nationally on television when it drew praise from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey. 

The leasehold interest has been acquired by to a local operator from Dundee.

Jamie Jackson of Christie + Co’s Edinburgh office handled the sale. He comments: “The sale of the former Nahm-Jim is yet another example of the returning confidence in Scotland’s hospitality scene.” 

“I am thrilled for the new owners and I am confident they will make this once beloved restaurant successful again.”
