Annalise Carter, who has owned the deli for the past two years is selling up to prepare for the arrival of her first child.  In the space of just two years, Annalise has done a 'Leicester City' with this Burton Road business - and it was named 'Best Food and Drink Retailer' in 2015 by the Manchester Food & Drinks Awards.

The deli, ideally placed within walking distance of the railway station and adjacent to the main licensed circuit, offers an eclectic mix of tailor-made cuisine from a simple sandwich to a corporate buffet.  Also on offer are bespoke platters and cheese boards, cheese celebration cakes, artisan bread and local coffees – all sourced from local producers.

Keith Stringer, who is handling the sales from the Manchester office, comments: “Annalise is offering the business for sale to concentrate on her family. The successful purchaser will acquire an outstanding lifestyle business in a superb location with the option to further develop trade by extending trading hours.”

Annalise says:  "It's been the best time.  I've met and worked with some great people - and winning the award was the cherry on the cake.  But now I've got the amazing challenge of motherhood and it's time to hand over the reins to someone who really wants it like I did."

A Taste of Honey is on the market leasehold at £75,000.
