Canterbury pub comes to the market with Christie & Co

The Prince of Wales, a traditional gastro pub in the Canterbury village of Hoath, Kent has been brought to the market by specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.

The detached pub has a charming traditional feel enhanced by the fireplaces at either end of the bar and dining areas. It has attracted a loyal following within the local and wider community, in part due to its successful restaurant which seats around 60 people and a recently refurbished garden which can seat around 100.

James Hughes, Business Agent in Christie and Co’s Maidstone office is handling the sale and comments, “The Prince of Wales is an established traditional pub within a rural community and a short distance from Canterbury. It’s a fantastic opportunity to acquire a freehold pub with character and also development potential – we expect strong interest from local operators.”

An asking price of £675,000 is being sought for the freehold interest.
