Locally known as "The Bottom House," The Tamworth Arms is a traditional pub and restaurant and the property can trace its history back to the 19th century, making it one of the oldest pubs in the town. The Grade II listed building has been extended over the years and offers 21 letting rooms along with detached, three bedroom owner's accommodation.

Situated a short distance from Tamworth town centre, the pub benefits from being in close proximity to local attractions including Tamworth Castle, the Assembly Rooms, a Grade II listed theatre, as well as the Snowdome and the Pleasure Grounds, which features a bowling alley, cinema, skate park, tennis courts and 'Britain in Bloom' award winning landscaping.

Having been purchased by the current owners in 1991, The Tamworth Arms has established a good reputation in the local community and, with the letting rooms, provides an ideal base to cater to the multitudes of visitors to the area.

The existing owners, Ian and Kerry Walker, are looking to sell the pub in order to retire and comment, “After 27 successful years running The Tamworth Arms we are finally looking to retire which is the reason we have decided to put the pub on the market. This is very much a local's pub, with 21 en suite bedrooms, which is also a busy side of the business.

“We have a great team working for us which makes life easier. It’s a good little business which provides a good return and we now feel ready to pass our success on and relax."

Joshua Sullivan, Senior Business Agent at Christie & Co is handling the sale and comments, “The Tamworth Arms is a classic pub with rooms which caters for both contractor and leisure trade. It is a short distance from both Tamworth town centre and Drayton Manor, which provides strong custom for the business. There is plenty of scope to build upon the existing trade and improve profit margins for a new operator."

The Tamworth Arms is on the market at an asking price of £775,000 for the freehold interest.
