The former owners, Amanda & Ian Fry and Mike & Lisa Williams have created a reputation for the group as one of the leading childcare providers in the Bristol area. As they have expanded and opened new nurseries, the business has gone from strength to strength with growing income and occupancy levels.

Amanda Fry of Abbeywood Tots comments, “We would like to wish Just Childcare all the best for the future and I am sure the nurseries will continue to offer the highest levels of childcare for all the children. I would also like to thank Nick of Christie & Co for helping to make this a smooth and professional process, whilst there were always going to be challenges along the way the advice we got helped us achieve our goals.”

Nick Brown, Head of Brokerage – Childcare at Christie & Co handled the sale and comments, “Having worked closely with the owners of Abbeywood Tots, we were able to provide advice on the best way to maximise the value for their group at a time which suited all four partners and when the market was extremely competitive. The successful timing of the sale of this established group resulted in a highly competitive process with numerous interested and well funded parties.

“Bristol has become an area where activity for high quality childcare settings has continued to grow, as further demonstrated by this sale. We wish Just Childcare the best of luck and we look forward to helping them continue to expand their portfolio in the future."
