Hospitality businesses honoured at the 14th Cornwall Tourism Awards

Representatives from Christie + Co and Cornwall’s leading figures in hospitality last night gathered to celebrate their achievements at the Cornwall Tourism Awards.

The awards ceremony, now in its 14th year, was held at the Headland Hotel in Newquay and featured 24 award categories covering everything from B&Bs and holiday parks to pubs and activity providers.

Specialist property adviser Christie + Co was honoured to sponsor the Venue and Business Tourism Award. The Gold trophy was awarded to the host of the evening, Headland Hotel, Carbis Bay Hotel took home the Silver while Polhawn Fort Hotel picked up the Bronze.

The Gold winners of the awards will now represent Cornwall in the South West Tourism Awards, and if successful, go through to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2016.
