Specialist property advisor Christie + Co has sold Lilacs Care Home in Exeter city centre. The 29 bed care home has been sold to Stonehaven Care Group, care home operators based in the South West with seven homes in Devon and one in Cornwall.

Commenting on the purchase of the Lilacs Mr Stephen Stone, Chair and Managing Director of Stonehaven says: “We consider the Lilacs a natural addition to Stonehaven’s activities as they complement our other homes in the Exeter area; Dovetree House in Exeter and The Manor in Exminster.  This brings the number of care homes we have up to nine in the South West, with three in the Exeter area. Christie + Co demonstrated their considerable knowledge of the local market and brought the sale about efficiently.”

Christie + Co Care agent, John Crocker commented; ""The well respected Stonehaven Care Group were on the lookout for another good home in Exeter and the Lilacs was a natural fit, providing synergies with their other two homes in the City.""

Following keen interest in the home, Stonehaven quickly mobilised their resource to acquire from the seller Patricia Hall.
