In early 2014, long time colleagues and friends, Christopher Peck and Simon and Laura Kerr decided to take on what was then one of Bridge of Allan’s best restaurants.

The Old Bridge had been run for the previous ten years as a restaurant, but current tenants Christopher, Simon and Laura saw the potential that the 300 year old building held, and worked to make the Old Bridge into the award-winning pub that it is today.

Located just off the A9, the main road connecting Bridge of Allan and Stirling, The Old Bridge Inn includes an open plan bar/restaurant seating area with single traditional bar servery. The pub has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence  from TripAdvisor and is currently ranked as the town’s number one restaurant on the site.

Stuart Drysdale, Associate Director at Christie & Co is leading the sale of the Inn and said, “The Old Bridge Inn presents a unique opportunity for an operator to take on a well-established and popular licensed business within the affluent town of Bridge of Allan.

“The current tenants have operated the business for a number of years and with the lease coming to an end are looking to focus on other interests. We are looking for a new operator who would like to take on what is a very well-run and popular local attraction, and has strong links to the local community and University of Stirling as well as attracting trade from tourists visiting for the Strathallan Highland Games, which are held in the town, Stirling Castle and the Bannockburn battlefields.”

The leasehold interest of the Old Bridge Inn, Bridge of Allan, is on the market with Christie & Co for £25,000.
