The recently refurbished property has 30 bedrooms in total across the main house and its annexe. There is also a separate two-bedroom apartment which has its own lounge and kitchen, accessed through a separate front door.
Ryan Lynn, Associate Director at Christie & Co’s Manchester office is handling the sale of the hotel. He comments, “The current owners have only been trading the business since October 2015 but have already built up a strong customer base. They are selling to pursue other business opportunities so this therefore presents the ideal opportunity for an experienced operator to acquire an excellently located business which has a lot of potential to grow.
“The hotel is close to several popular attractions such as Chester Zoo and popular designer outlet village, Cheshire Oaks, whilst the River Dee offers miles of beautiful riverside walks and cruises. There is therefore plenty of opportunity to capitalise further on the tourist as well as business trade in the area.”
Christie & Co is seeking an asking price of £1.75m for the Bridge Street Townhouse. Alternatively, a leasehold option is available at £400,000 with a rent payable to the landlord.
