First time buyer acquired mixed dental practice in Leeds through Christie & Co

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co has completed on the sale of Oakwood Dental Practice, a mixed income dental practice in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Occupying a prominent position on the edge of the city centre, the practice comprises three fully fitted and modern surgeries. The practice offers a range of treatments including implants, and is located in a mixed commercial and residential area, ideal for generating both NHS and private patients.

Previous owner and principal, Tawfiqur Rahman acquired the practice in partnership in 2009 and became the sole principal in 2012. Following the decision to sell in order to start an advanced dentistry course. Dr Rahman comments, “I am delighted to achieve a successful sale of my practice and leave it in excellent hands going forward. I am thankful to Christie & Co for achieving a good price and to Jonathan Watson, in particular, who worked with me for a few years helping me to prepare for sale.”

The practice has been acquired by Barbie Devall, a first time buyer from the local area, who comments, “I am really excited to have become the owner of Oakwood Dental Practice and am looking forward to working with the excellent team here.”

As we head towards the end of 2018, there continues to be significant demand for mixed practices like Oakwood Dental Practice across West Yorkshire.” 

The leasehold interest of Oakwood Dental Practice was sold off a guide price of £900,000.
